Banda Aceh – The almost 3-hour activity was opened by the Head of LPPM, Prof. Dr. Taufik Fuadi Abidin. In his remarks, he expressed his extraordinary appreciation for the activities that were successfully carried out and attracted more than 50 participants from among lecturers in the USK environment. This activity brought in resource persons who are competent in the field of research and service, including Dr. Rina Suryani Oktari, Dr. Sulastri and Prof. Dr. Mudatsir from the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK).

Dr. Rina Suryani explaining her experience

Dr. Rina Suryani Oktari explained her experience in winning the USK and Griffith University Cooperation Grant, which is fully funded by the Australian government through the KONEKSI program. Dr. Rina Suryani encouraged the participants who attended to register jointly and compete in the KONEKSI funding in 2024. “My hope is that in 2024, the winners of the KONEKSI Grant will not be concentrated in Java. Because in 2023, the winners for the Java region were far more, while outside Java, especially Sumatra, there were still very few; in fact, there were only 2 universities that won, namely Universitas Syiah Kuala and Andalas University,” he continued to explain. The discussion related to the KONEKSI Grant attracted the enthusiasm of the participants, and from the various questions asked in the question and answer session, it appeared that the participants were very interested in the KONEKSI Grant funding.
