Under a number of projects, TDMRC has been involving in protecting communities from disaster through science and technology approaches. We have missions which is to deliver innovative scientific research outputs and products in the framework of disaster risk reduction and a vision to become the Center of Excellence for tsunami and disaster mitigation studies in the region of Indian Ocean in 2025.
