Banda Aceh – The Disaster Education Division of TDMRC Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK) held an Enumerator Training on the Role of Women in Banda Aceh City and Ambon City in Building Community Resilience in the 3 Crisis Phases of Conflict, Tsunami and Covid-19 Pandemic in collaboration with Patimura University in Ambon and Kyoto University in Japan.
The training involved 20 students from USK and 5 resource persons, one of whom was Suraiya Kamaruzzaman, Dr. Budi Ariyanto, Dr. Bokiraiya Latuamury, Dr. Rina Suryani Oktari, S.Kep., M.Si, and Assoc. Prof. Nishi Yoshimi. This training was held for 2 days on July 15-16, 2023.
The purpose of this training was to gain knowledge on how to be a good enumerator, such as what to do and what not to do. How to cut the conversation if you meet a source whose answer is too long and so on. In addition to these objectives, some knowledge related to learning the basics of gender as knowledge to enrich insight.
