Trials of Processing Food based on Mangrove Flour

Aceh Besar РFASTANA-TDMRC Universitas Syiah Kuala, carried out the trial agenda for making food from processed from Mangrove Flour. This activity is an exercise for FASTANA members before going to the field to carry out the PKK Mothers Empowerment Program held in Gampong Kajjhu, Baitussalam District, Aceh Besar Regency. In this follow-up activity, the FASTANA-TDMRC Team carried out an experiment in producing processed food made from Avicennia Mangrove Flour which is an independent processed product of PPK ORMAWA FASTANA-TDMRC members.

Trials of Processing Food based on Mangrove FlourIn this trial activity, the FASTANA team used 2 Kg of Avicennia Mangrove Flour which produced 3 dozen cups of marrow porridge from Mangrove Flour. This experience of processing food is certainly an important capital for the PPK-ORMAWA team in preparation for implementing empowerment practices for PKK mothers. After the product is completed, then our processed products are distributed to the Gampong Kajhu Islamic Boarding School.
