The organizing committee of the 18th Aceh International Workshop and Expo on Sustainable Disaster Recovery (AIWEST-DR 2026) officially announces the opening of the Call for Abstracts and Papers. The conference will be held on 22–24 July 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand, and is hosted by the Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University.
Carrying the theme “Resilience by Design: Systems for Sustainable Recovery,” AIWEST-DR 2026 aims to provide a premier international platform for academics, researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and industry leaders to exchange knowledge, share research findings, and foster collaboration in advancing disaster resilience and sustainable recovery systems.
Now in its 18th edition, AIWEST-DR continues its commitment to bridging the gap between scientific research and practical implementation. The conference will highlight interdisciplinary approaches and innovative solutions that strengthen preparedness, response, recovery, and long-term resilience in disaster-affected regions worldwide.
