Banda Aceh – The Annual International Conference (AIC) was once again hosted by Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK). The international conference was conducted for the thirteenth time in 2023 on Monday, November 13, at the AAC Dayan Dawood Building.
Prof. Ir. Sugianto, MSc, PhD, who is the chairman of the 13th AIC Committee, stated that the USK Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) oversees the yearly AIC agenda.
The conference included a wide range of issues and was separated into three tracks: Science and Engineering; Environmental and Life Sciences; and Social Sciences, according to Prof. Dr. Ir. Agussabti, M.Si., IPU, USK’s Vice Rector for Academic Affairs.
“The main focus of this conference is to share and scrutinize findings, exchange perspectives and ideas, to be taken to the next stage, to implementation in order to improve the quality of life and humanity,” stated the professor.
Along with the AIC activities, LPPM USK asked USK researchers to present new products derived from their research as lecturers or researchers. Through this exhibition, visitors could directly learn about USK’s superior products.
