In a proactive move to fortify its initiatives, the Tsunami and Disaster Mitigation Research Center (TDMRC) convened a strategic working meeting aimed at bolstering the ongoing 2023 program while laying the groundwork for the upcoming 2024 work plan. The conference’s focal point, resonating with the spirit of the times, was unveiled as “New Spirit in Disaster Mitigation in the Era of USK PTN-BH.”
Distinguished by the guidance of TDMRC’s Director, Prof. Dr. Syamsidik, ST, M.Sc, the assembly drew together luminaries from various echelons of the institution, including Division Heads, division members, diligent staff, and the dynamic contributors of FASTANA TDMRC.
With monumental challenges looming on the horizon, the call for steadfastness, tireless endeavor, and unwavering commitment echoed resoundingly. The pivotal task at hand encompasses the formidable transition from a Public Service Agency (BLU) to a State-Owned Legal Entity with Public Service Obligations (PTN-BH). As the university steers towards this transformative phase, an elevation in quality, capacity, and productivity assumes paramount significance.
