Banda Aceh – TDMRC Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK) received a visit from a team of researchers from Norway. The visit consisting of Prof. Margaret Lepp (RN, RNT, PhD) from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, Jan Nilsson (RN, RNT, PhD) from Karlstad University, Karlstad, Sweden, and Associate Prof. Randi E. Martinsen from Inland Norway University, Norway and the Dean of the USK Faculty of Nursing, was received directly by the director of TDMRC Prof Dr Syamsidik, Deputy Director of TDMRC Dr Muksin Umar, and Cluster Chair Dr Saumi Syahreza. Prof. Margaret and Prof. Jan Nilsson also research and teach at Inland Norway University at the Institute of Health Care and Sciences.
The purpose of the visit was to exchange information about research activities that have been carried out, are being carried out, and the possibility of future research cooperation. At the end of the meeting, the TDMRC Director hoped that this visit could be upgraded to research cooperation between TDMRC and Inland Norway University, especially in the fields of crisis and pandemic management, empowerment of health workers for disaster, and conflict resolution and peace.
