Banda Aceh – To commemorate the 20th after the Aceh tsunami, the TDMRC is set to release an infographic book detailing information about the period before, during, and after the 2004 tsunami that struck Aceh. The team visited the Tsunami Museum in Banda Aceh to establish a collaboration for the book’s creation, which was warmly received by Cut Intan Damayanti, the person in charge of the museum’s temporary exhibits. Intan explained that the museum holds an extensive collection of archives and photographs from the time of the tsunami, the recovery period, and the reconstruction phase. The museum also possesses newspapers that reported on the 2004 tsunami, providing valuable sources and data for the development and compilation of the infographic book. The Tsunami Museum in Aceh has expressed great enthusiasm and full support for the team in completing this project.
