Short introduction

About Shaking Table

In the midst of earthquake disaster risk reduction, one of the innovative experimental techniques is that by utilizing a shaking table to study the response of structure system performance through the earthquake simulation test.

The shaking table facility in TDMRC is capable to perform a wide range simulated ground motions. The servo-hydraulic with the high-speed actuator can drive the table to perform six degrees of freedom (DOF) movement in three-dimensional
space. Although the dimension of the table is not considerably large enough to simulate full-scale testing, the rated performance of frequency range and the velocity can simulate a high frequency range of earthquake vibration.
